White Elephant Dice Game
One die decides what happens to the gifts. Roll it on screen, read the action, and print the rule card and six action cards if you want a table version.

Chaos round
The die rolls by itself on a timer. Gifts change hands fast. When time is up, everyone keeps what is in their hands.

How to play
- Wrap one gift per player and put them in a circle, or let each guest hold one.
- Pass the die. Each player rolls on their turn.
- Do what the number says. Default table: 1 pass left, 2 pass right, 3 swap with anyone, 4 steal, 5 unwrap or keep, 6 roll again.
- Stop after ten to fifteen minutes. Everyone keeps the gift in their hands.
Which table to use
Family is the default table above. Kids swaps stealing for friendly trades and a silly dance on the six. Office-safe caps stealing at twice per gift and asks for a kind comment on a roll-again.
Chaos round
Start a chaos round and the die rolls itself every ten seconds for ninety seconds. Everyone watches the screen, passes and steals as the numbers come up, and keeps what they are holding when the clock stops. It is loud, short and a good way to end the exchange.
Printing the cards
The PDF has a rule card with the table and a second page of six action cards with cut lines. Custom tables, where you write your own six actions, come with the paid plans.
Questions
What are the white elephant dice game rules?
Each player rolls one die on their turn and follows the action for that number: pass left, pass right, swap with anyone, steal, keep, or roll again. Play for a set time and keep what you hold.
Do I need a physical die?
No. The on-screen die rolls with a random seed each time. If you prefer a real die, use the table as the rule card.
Can I change what each number does?
Pick one of three presets for free. Writing your own six actions is included in the Party Pack and the Holiday Host Bundle.
How long does the dice game take?
Plan fifteen to thirty minutes. The chaos round is two minutes or less.
Is there a printable version?
Yes. Download the rule card and action cards as a PDF on US Letter or A4. Free PDFs keep a small footer line.
