Secret Santa Questionnaire
Answer a short set of questions so your Secret Santa can pick something you will use. Fill it in here, print the PDF, or send a read-only link. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
Fill in the questionnaire
How it works
- Choose a question set: coworkers, family, friends or kids. Each one starts with sizes, favorites, a wish list and things to avoid.
- Change the wording, remove what you do not need, or add a question of your own.
- Type your answers, then download a PDF, print the blank version for a group, or copy a share link.
The four question sets
- Coworkers: 11 questions.
- Family: 11 questions.
- Friends: 11 questions.
- Kids: 10 questions.
They are starting points. A set for the office skips clothing sizes, a set for kids uses short, plain questions that a grown-up can help fill in.
Why a link instead of an account
The share link carries your answers inside the part of the address after the # sign. Browsers keep that part on your device and do not send it with the request, so this site never receives or stores it. The trade-off: whoever has the link can read the answers, and a very long answer list may not fit in a link. Use the PDF for those.
Printing a blank questionnaire
“Blank printable” makes a page of your questions with two ruled lines under each, on US Letter or A4. It suits a gift exchange where people fill it in by hand and drop it in a bowl. Free PDFs carry a small “Made free at White Elephant Game” line at the bottom.
Collecting answers from a whole group
If you are organizing the exchange and want everyone’s answers in one place, make a Secret Santa group form. For an office, the coworkers questionnaire keeps the questions work-appropriate. This page does not draw names or assign who buys for whom.
Questions
What should a Secret Santa questionnaire ask?
Sizes (if clothing is allowed), favorite colors, snacks and drinks, hobbies, a short wish list, things to avoid, allergies and a budget note. A couple of fun questions make the answers easier to write.
Does this site store my answers?
No. What you type stays in your browser. The share link holds the answers in the address after the # sign, which browsers do not send to a server.
Can I print a blank questionnaire?
Yes. Press “Blank printable (PDF)” for a page with your questions and ruled lines, on US Letter or A4.
Can I change the questions?
Yes. Edit any question, remove it, or add your own, up to 30 in total.
Why does my share link say it is too long?
The answers are stored in the link itself, and browsers limit how long a link can be. Shorten a few answers or use the PDF.
Does it assign who gives a gift to whom?
No. It only collects likes and dislikes. Use it alongside whatever way your group picks names.
